So today we had a power outage, and among some things like a flooding basement, once the power came back on I found myself with one less working monitor. My hope for this are low, but I'm wondering if you guys think it might be salvageable.

What it's doing.. It shows the no signal screen, now and then, and the power light sometimes just goes to red, but if I try to send it a signal from the computer (ie. connecting it), it just shuts off. I'm wondering if you guys think it might just have a damaged fuse? If not I've already made me peace with buying another, but I wanted a second opinion beyond my amateur analysis, lol

Sounds like a bad vid processor.
Junk unless you can find a cheap parts replacement.
Do you have a model number and make and size?
I have a couple of recycled parts dealers I work close with.

Thanks for the input. I'll have to get back on the model number. lol I can tell you it's a 22" widescreen, but I know that doesn't mean much without the model. I would've posted this last night if I wasn't cleaning out my basement, which will continue today as well, lol

How easy are these to replace? I've never attempted this before. lol I know I tried replacing the cathodes in a flat panel monitor once... It's mostly worked, but 2 inches or so on the right side of the screen stopped displaying anything (probably nicked a cable or snapped something... things are way too cramped in these, lol)

But when I get home I'll post the model number for sure. man I am definitely ready for a weekend >.<
