If any of you were on here earlier, you might have noticed the site's bee ultra laggy. Based on the logs it looks like it was more then likely a problem with the database server. Either way I shot the host an email asking for an update on what was wrong and an eta of when it'll be fixed (not that i'm expecting a response or anything, lol). The fact that I've been able to hit this page to post the thread gives me hope it's been fixed already.
If you guys experience any problems, all I can say is sorry for this inconvenience, hopefully it'll be resolved shortly. If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?
yeah i got a response from the server people around 4 hours later and they weren't much help, they just tried the url and said it was all good. i'd prefer they looked at the logs but whatever, haha

OMG! it's 1:45AM EST and Ghostly and I were scared the site got DOSed... or Dugg... or the host decided to not love us any more... yell at them :)...
<edit>it took 15 mins to get this edit to happen... (2:00AM)
it was INCREDIBLY slow. I would have known if we got Dugg, i have the RSS feed on my homepage and it updates every 2 minutes, im always looking at it.
I would say it was a DoS, or some serious serverside/server ISP issues.
there was times when the site would timeout, sometimes it would 1/2 load
