I'm just curious if anyone is interested in a colaborative project? I've been working on an image hosting site and It's got a fair amount of work done but the more I've thought about it, it's really only maybe 1/3 the way done. At fear of burning my self out with this project I thought I'd see if any of you guys might want to make this a colaborative project.
Idealy I'd love to have a team with maybe 1 graphics guy, another php guy, and a JavaScript guy. If anyone is awesome with flash, a few of the javascript sections would look better with flash and be more universally accessible with flash since browser DOMs aren't completly standardized.
Even after I've planned a strong amount of it out, I've made enough changes that I'm potentially looking into restructuring my existing code to make it all cleaned up.
If I can get a full team I'd love to get moving on this. If I can't then I'll probably keep it a mostly solo project just because it'd move slow enough that people working on single aspects would get bored waiting to be able to test their parts out.
As far as the PHP person, there isn't anything to intensive as I've already coded the large areas but I think I'm burning myself out and more or less need someone to bounce site structure/planning ideas off of. The largest reason for this is simply because ideas have changed enough durring development that I'm starting to think it's necessary.
So if anyone is interested I'd love to hear it. I've always enjoyed colaborative projects. I've never done one across the internet so this should be pretty interesting. If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?
i dont know much php and dont know ANY javascript so i wouldnt be able to help out with that but id love to help out with graphics and maybe a little flash if you want

sounds awesome. Tonight I'm refinalizing some sketchups and I'll send them your way. How is your action script in flash? It's more JS related. I'll talk to you about it over aim and see if you know what I'd be looking to do. If you can do this flash portion, then that'd take a lot of the JS work out of the picture, so I'd be more then likely able to handle that on my own.
I think you guys will be pretty impressed with this project as i've got some cool ideas. I have the majority of the ground work done. Today I started drawing up some new and improved structures to the site too. beyond what I have already, the majority of it is just putting the peices together and then making them look good.

i know the basics of actionscript but thats about it, but i know someone whos really good at it and may help out a little
