This article really suprised me and maybe there are just some settings that haven't been made to the OS to cut their power consumption. I'm assuming these tests were run on default installations.


If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?

screw green os' I think they should also take into consideration the amount of lead that goes into making allllll of those ram chips to support XP and Vista

still laptop wise though from what my one friend says he gets 2-3 hours less battery power on nix with his laptop over windows an only reason he doesn't run nix all the time is gaming and wireless/batt power. he gets 8 hours of battery using XP though (he has a 9 cell Li-Ion batt).

oh an as a note you dun want to accuse me of supporting M$ cause I ***** hate them (no OS and can't stand the haters stuff either plz I don't like them for 2 reasons I'm not gonna mention). lol
