Post Subject: Not a mod but worth a look
Posted on: Aug 11, 2006
Well my dads plant is going to shut down in the near future and as such they're slowly unloading all their equipment. well instead of throwing this away my dad volunteered to take it off their hands.
This computer is well over 100 pounds and unloading it in our basement for now was definatly some hard work. I'm still not entirly sure what i wanna do with it yet, but i thought it was cool and definatly worth posting. I dont know who built it, and it's definatly an older pc, the case holds a P3 and has 64mb of ram and windows NT. I have a couple 256 sticks of ram that i threw into it and i'm gonna load windows 2k onto it because i'm really not a fna of NT.
As for physical mods, i plan to put a couple lights into it so that it'll look like it's glowing and i want to put in a different keyboard.
hope you all enjoy these few pics :)
enjoy If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?
lol i've actually considered doing that, minus the quarter thing. i read somewhere a while ago abotu how people built homemade arcade machines from their old computers, it had some OS that ran different roms, sounded pretty cool to me. but for now it's sitting in my basement till i have the time, lol

holy revived posts batman lol, that said actually this thing would definitely make a great mame machine. I know of 2 people who have built their own right down to the classic arcade controls and they looked pretty sweet.
