Im currently going through all my old technology trying to decide what i should put in the garage out of sight and what i should keep around when i realised that i never once hooked my sega dreamcast up to my very very old projector form 1994.

It took me a very long time finding all the old cables I needed and then it took more time to get the projector to work but it was so worth it to play the original soul calabuir projected to around 50"-60" against a friend.

I'll post some pictures of this tomorrow only then will your realise how old my projector is.

It was a hell of a lot of fun.

The the projector needs a bit of a clean which is why there's some marks on the projection but you didn't notice when you were playing.

OH! HOMEMADE PROJECTOR FTW!

I think that this would be "Gaming like its 1999(dreamcast came out 9/9/99) But this is awesome. I love the the dreamcast and still play it alot. I still need to get myself a old projector like that and give that hack a go.

Its not actually home made. Its a infocus projection panel from 1994. Ive thought about upgradining it with a new panel taken from a monitor but theres 3 things that put me off.

1 trying to keep it clean would drive me insane.
2 if you put a 15" lcd on a over head projector it would cut off the corners and sides.
3 if a 6" lcd makes a 50" projection what's a 15" one going to do.

I was mildly drunk when I started this thread so its possible that I meant to hit the 9 key but hit 8 instead or maybe I counting the original Japanese release date of November 1998, Im not quite sure myself.
