I have decided that I am going to make my own game and Im going to need to re-learn c++ because that last time I used it was 2005 when I was at college. Does any one know any good sites that I can use to relearn c++?

GOOGLE
I end up using google whenever I need to look up a specific function, or find a function to do a specific thing...
MSDN usually has good stuff, but that is more of a reference style than a tutorial style...

I've never used it myself, but a quick google led me to this site: http://www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/
looks like that might help get you back into the basics.

I assume mostly it will be just remembering functions and syntax. I can't imagine someone forgetting the logical stuff

If you still have your textbook you might consider just redoing a couple of your old assignments (assuming you actually programmed in your programming class... I hear some colleges make it all theory)

Friend's kid: Mommy, what's church?
Mommy: Church is where people go to learn about God.
kid: Who's God? Does he teach karate?

I went though my old text books but the only programing one Ive found sofar is about the lifecycle of developing software.

I found a site thats supposed to teach you c++ in 3 weeks and if I devoted some time to it I could probably get it all read through in less than a week.

I think tommorow Ill build a computer out of old parts to use for programing and then Ill get on with re learing c++.
