Thats pretty smooth. lol I looked at the case and thought, "lol this doesn't even look modded" but then I saw the other pics :) This is one cool mod. With all the people moving away from CRTs I'm surprised There aren't more of these out there.
If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?

thats really slick! Love the idea behind it.
Ive thought about modding my CRT's with a 12v AC adapter and a light bar(either LED or Cold Cathode) just to shine through the back vents. Dunno if I wanna do that yet or not...its a idea...one of millions floating in my head.

Yeah if you can get past the fear of possible being electrocuted by the massive vacuum tube, this would be an easy mod. :P

eh. this is why you short out the unit. with it discharged, then there is no issues. then again, I am the one who used to play with a broken TV, and have fun with the flyback transformer cable just to watch the 1 inch arc from the tube to the cable.
