here i have cut apart the plastic housing and attached them to the hdd together.
currently it gets hooked up individually to fan controls, but i would like to create a transistor that would run of a single three pin molex connector and give equal power to each fan.

try not to think of the price of the part your cutting in half.
It would be pretty easy to make each matching wire go to the same molex. If you plan to do much with wiring inside the PC I also reccomend getting a pin remover, those things are a life saver. Other stuff will work but pin removers are probably the easiest and fastest tool out there.
If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?
will do ... i didnt think adding them into one molex was a safe idea, because of the load and impedance and things like that. if i plug them in line, the second one is weaker. (obvious) also, the fans are currently running off four pin molex, and i would really like to convert it to three if that is possible. i know i can just swap the pins, but i have a fan control and it only illuminates the knob for the three pin connection. i assume this is a ground. can i just ground each knob (and trick the led)?? thanks faceless for letting me post these pics, its one of the few things ive created. it works perfect and silent, well as quiet as it was prior to mod. as long as the fans each get the full amount of power prior to me regulating, i do not mind how i do it.

i had it out so i snapped a few more pics. you can see how the housing for the fan comes apart from the frame. i simply overlapped the frame and cut the housing with tin snips.
