Post Subject: What About Not Emailing..............

What About Not Emailing Everyone That Someone Made A Post On Things You've Replied To. For Example I Hit Reply And Say Great Job, Some one else hits reply and says thats sweet. And You Get A Email With His Response.
So My suggestion is Send Emails Only From Posts You've Made.
yeah i can do that :) Sometime tonight it'll be changed from emailing you updates after you last viewed the thread to the last time you posted in the thread.

ok starting now, it should send you emails after you complete a posting only. I haven't tested this out to beyond just looking at the posting, but if two people would want to reply to this posting, that'll be my first test :)

I know this is impossible but all the same... It would be nice if once you got the emails and read them it marked it read on site... But oh well this is my wishful reply.

yeah they're nice, I like them, but they do get a little annoying. It would be great if we could have an option of whether or not we wanted the emails or something like that.
Thats another thing thats coming. I plan to allow people to enable/disable topic notifications as well as newsletters. This isn't a very large update though so it's taken a bit of a back seat to the image hosting and worklog/blog feature thats coming up in the near future.

Just testing to see if I get an email for replying to my reply... I hope posting doesn't automatically subscribe me to this thread indefinitely. Thanks for the updates, btw.
yeah and thats how the new system works. unfortunatly it's not retro active, so threads created before the update will continue to email you until you post in them once. lol it's not a blatant attempt to get people to post, it was just the only solution to the problem
