I thought this would be a really fun contest to bring everyone back into the competing side of the giveaways here. After the long Birthday Bash, I figured it was time to ease back into some competitive, almost modding stuff :)
This is the AOL CD Competition. The objective of this competition is to do the most creative thing with your AOL CDs. If you don't have any you can usually pick them up just about from any store in the world for free. And if you are really desperate, we're not going to limit you to only AOL CDs, normal CDs are welcome (but not nearly as fun to mangle).
Heres a few examples of work other people have done...
These are some CD Lamps. The one on the Right is one that I actually created on one very bored day. The one on the left is what inspired it :)
This would just look cool no matter who you are
This guy pretty much has the ultimate bragging rights, lol.

Ok now I'm not expecting and AOL CD Thrones, because that'd be way to crazy, though if you could do that, you'd definitely get 1st place, lol.
Some Ideas could easily include...
"Using CDs for target practice",
"CD Disc Gun (that just sounds fun, be careful though)",
"Other Uses for AOL CDs"
Theres a ton of funny things and creative uses you could use these things for and I'd love to see them all!! If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?
Now I'm not sure if this contest has gotten much attention at all, but heres another cd chair I just found. This one doesn't look like a throne or anything but it's still pretty cool in a new age looking way... It also looks a ton easier to build, especially if you have access to welding equipment, lol
but maybe work would work?
