Well i think that this is great news now... I would have even been happy if it was still a contest but open to the world, beut anyway it's all good... Now i think you need to try to get the word out therer about it... I might post it up on digg and some other forums when i have some time...

Is this just basically a "drawing" now? No case entries required? If that's the case, there goes a days worth of work.
I see your point that a drawing will provide exposure for the site, however, you should have planned it that way from the beginning.
I'm a new member here and was excited to find a site that rewarded it's members based on some achievement/recognition and not just the luck of the draw. To change the parameters midway through the contest period is absurd.
I do agree, I was actually hoping for more of a competition, but half way in it didn't seem there was mcuh interest in the modding aspect so after some real though i decided to turn it into a drawing. I'd love to see work though. Also there is still the guide giveaway that I setup to accompany this one.

well sorry to say but I'm gonna have to drop out of the contest, I really do want to do it but with school and lack of funds right now to buy the paint I need for the mod I just don't see how I could pull it off in 2 weeks. on the up side of things I have gotten the designs the right size and whatnot for project ritual bird of prey and I'm gonna get that on the go so I can take it to the Lan party I'm heading to in august.
but yea I mean right now I just don't have the time to get something like my pirate PC idea done.....since that one is a secondary priority mod I'm bumping that to the back burner and I'm going to be working on my ritual bird of prey mod for the next month and a half whenever I can.
