ULTRA Fire P4 Socket 755 CPU Cooler
Author: faceless105 -- Posted: 2007-01-30
Tonight I've had the opportunity to review the "ULTRA Fire P4 Socket 755 CPU Cooler". This CPU cooler is fairly massive which shows since it's able to support up to a Prescott 3.8 GHz Processor.

The CPU Cooler Sits on top of a copper core that disperses heat across 104 fins. This entire CPU Cooler rests on top of a secure metal backing.

On top of those 104 fins, rests a whopping 120mm fan. This pushes cool air on the 104 fins, thus allowing them to continue to pick up heat form the CPU.

The installation was incredibly simple. With the spring loaded screws you hardly have to worry about even having a screw driver, like I said, incredibly simple.

This came with a bare bones kit, but so far I'm pretty happy with it. I have it sitting on a 3.2 GHz P4 Celeron and it idles at 30 Celsius.

If anyone is looking for a nice new CPU cooler and is on a bit of a budget, this is a pretty nice option. For the cost, it works excellently.

If anyone is interested in heat ratings, or questions about the performance, installation or anything else, I'll be looking forward to it.
