I might've missed this, but what did you construct this out of? I feel it turned out exceptionally well, and I cant imagine how much time and patients went into it. Well Done [insert a tipping of the hat and clapping]
you can check out his worklog on his site.... I think it should still be there... But from memory the boday was created out of one of those big blue drums, and it has a phase cooler int he bottom... and ways a shit load... lol...
STUV.
Screw the right to Bear Arms,
I have the right to Arm Bears.
Piss me off and you'll get an M15 wielding bear in your oatmeal.
Yeah that thing is rediculous, but thanks to people like The Great Satan we have a bar for some kind of sick Modders standards to follow, keeps people from buying out of the box "pre modded" cases, and changing the lights in them and going all WOO! I'm a modder... yet it IS that attitude that leads to bigger and better mods I suppose, so dont think I'm looking down on anyone.
lol a pre-mod case and a single cathode is what started my mind wandering and then about 2 months after that I had finally come up with an idea that inevitably led to my FoxFire Custom Case, but hell yea awesome modders like TGS set a whole new bar for the rest of us to reach.

lol whenever i see the r2d2 case i think of those round pepsi coolers you see in gas stations. I've never looked at the worklog though, what is it made of?
If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?
I'm not sure what the body is made with....kinda looks like one of those drink fountain pepsi cylinders or something although I do know he used part of BBQ for the head and sheet metal for other bits and pieces....heres the link to the worklog. http://www.pcmodhouse.com/id21.html

Great job on the case, screw the gallery ;D. No I'm kidding, I was a bit shocked to see you used a vapochill more shocked to see they work as well as advertised. Keep up the great work I'll be keeping an eye out for new systems from you.
Vapochills are crap. I turned it on and blew a fuse after only 3 weeks of use. It was in R2's underside too, so I had to remove the head then flip it upside down to get to it. Then I had to unscrew the panel of the Vapochill and carefully reach around the transformer inside to add a new fuse.
Two weeks later I blew the fuse again! How, you ask? By turning on the computer. JUNK.
Well then I'm glad I didn't pick one up. It would be interesting to hear a rebuddle from them... I seem to remember them getting a review in a somewhat recent CPU
I don't normally recomend anything with condensational side effects to be used by beginners... something about new modders trying to protectively caulk their boards makes me nervous... though I do suppose you have to learn sometime.
